2009 Jazz Ensemble Excerpts and Information
Auditions for the Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo are open to ALL UIndy students.
Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo auditions will take place in room 221 of the CDFAC during the following times:
- Friday, August 21: 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
- Saturday, August 25: 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
When you arrive on campus, please sign up for a time on the bulletin board outside room 109. Please try to sign up near someone else to avoid large gaps in the schedule.
These results will be posted at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 26. Rehearsals will begin on the first day of classes.
Your audition will consist of:
- Major scales (all you know)
- Sight-reading
